Our Mission

To empower community volunteers to advocate for childrenwho have experienced abuse or neglect to find loving, safe, and permanent homes.

About Us

CASA of Williamson County was established in 2009 and at the time was the largest county in Texas to not yet have a Court Appointed Special Advocates® (CASA) program. Since that time CASA Wilco has served 1,252 children with the help of over 500 dedicated volunteers, successfully closing 1,103 cases.

CASA Wilco recruits, trains, and supports community members who advocate for the best interest of children who have experienced abuse or neglect. These volunteers serve as consistent, compassionate partners in the child welfare process—collaborating with professionals and families to help ensure children are safe, connected, and supported. Collectively, CASA Wilco volunteers have made more than 13,000 visits and submitted over 6,000 court reports, helping provide judges with a well-rounded, child-centered perspective to inform their decisions.
